Settings for Mac-computers

To make sure you can participate from a Mac, you need to give permission for screen recordings and sharing your screen before you start. In this article, we explain how to do that.

Settings for sessions with interviewer

To participate in a session with an interviewer, you must have Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge installed on your computer. After installing, you must then give Google Chrome permission to take screen shots and share your screen. 

  1. Download and install Google Chrome (or Microsoft Edge)
  2. Click on the Apple menu (top left)
  3. Open System Settings
  4. Go to 'Privacy & Security'
  5. Scroll down and select 'Screen and system Audio Recording'
  6. Give Google Chrome permission

Settings for sessions without interviewer

To complete without an interviewer but with recordings, you need to download our software. After this, you need to give User Sense permission to record your screen so that you can complete the test. Here's how to do it:

  1. Download and install our software
  2. Click on the Apple menu (top left)
  3. Open 'System Settings'
  4. Go to 'Privacy & Security'
  5. Scroll down and select 'Screen and system audio recording'
  6. Give User Sense permission
