Instructions for sessions with interviewer
Are you participating in a session with an interviewer? Then check in the invitation e-mail on which device you can participate. Then read through the instructions for desktop and laptop or mobile devices.

Instructions for desktop or laptop
Are you participating in the session on desktop? Then check the following beforehand:
- You have Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge installed.
- You can log in with your account on the website. Never logged in before? Then activate your account.
- Do you have a Mac? Then check your Mac-settings.
How to join the session

Close programs that might use the microphone or camera (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Facetime).

Login to the User Sense website. Never logged in before? Then activate your account first.
- Click on the orange 'Start' button. This will be available 15 minutes before the start of the session.
- Select a camera and microphone. Does the camera or microphone not work? Then go to this page.
- Click on 'To lobby'.
- Click on 'Start session'. You can do this as soon as the researcher is present.

Instructions for mobile devices
Are you participating in the session on your mobile phone? If so, please check the following beforehand:
- You have the User Sense app installed on your mobile phone
- You can log in with your account on the app. Never logged in before? Then activate your account first.
- Are you going to participate? Then make sure you have fast wifi and a charged phone.
How to participate in the session
- Open the app and log in with your account. Never logged in before? Then activate your account first.
- Go to the 'To do' tab
- Start the session by clicking on the 'play' icon
- Give permission to use the microphone, camera and screen recording
- Go to the lobby
- Click on 'Start session'. You can do this as soon as the researcher is present.
